1. Introduction
Eight Curve LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Tidey mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information and health data when you use the App.
We built Tidey to help people taking GLP-1 medications eat well and manage their nutritional needs. Using the App means sharing some personal and health information with us, and we take that responsibility seriously.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Health and Nutritional Data (Voluntarily Provided)
When you use the App's tracking and planning features, you may choose to provide:
- Weight and body measurements
- Daily nutritional intake (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats)
- Meal plans and recipe selections
- Hydration and water intake logs
- GLP-1 injection records (date, time, medication, and dose)
- Medication schedule and reminders
2.2 Apple HealthKit Data (Optional)
With your explicit permission, Tidey may read and/or write data to Apple HealthKit, including weight and nutritional data. HealthKit data is used solely to provide App functionality and is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining purposes, in compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.
2.3 Device and Technical Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Crash logs and performance data (to identify and fix bugs)
- General usage analytics (which features are used)
2.4 Payment Information
All subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store via RevenueCat. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials. RevenueCat may share anonymized transaction data (such as subscription status and purchase dates) with us to manage your subscription.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App's core functionality, including meal planning, recipe browsing, nutritional tracking, weight tracking, hydration logging, and shot tracking
- To personalize your experience, such as displaying relevant recipes and tracking your progress
- To process and manage your subscription
- To improve the App's reliability, performance, and features
- To respond to support requests and communicate important updates
- To comply with legal obligations
We will never use your health data for advertising. We will never sell your health data to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your health and personal data is stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud backup, your data may also be stored in your private iCloud account, which only you control.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
We work with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers to operate the App. These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes of providing their services.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or health data to any third party for advertising, marketing, or data brokering purposes.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the App. If you delete the App, your locally stored data is removed from your device. Data stored in iCloud is subject to Apple's iCloud storage policies and can be managed through your Apple ID settings.
Anonymized analytics data may be retained for a reasonable period to help us improve the App.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we limit how we use your data

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Health Data Privacy
We recognize that the health and nutritional data you provide through the App is sensitive. In addition to the protections described above, we commit to the following:
- Your health data is stored separately from any identifying contact information where technically feasible
- We will never use health data for advertising, marketing, or data mining
- We will never sell, license, or commercially share your health data
- Health data shared with third-party services is limited to what is strictly necessary for App functionality
- You can delete your health data at any time by deleting the App and removing associated data from iCloud
This section is intended to comply with applicable health data privacy laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state legislation.
10. Apple HealthKit Compliance
In accordance with Apple's requirements for apps that integrate with HealthKit:
- HealthKit data is used solely to provide health and fitness functionality within the App
- HealthKit data is never used for advertising or marketing purposes
- HealthKit data is never sold to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers
- HealthKit data is never used for purposes unrelated to health or fitness
- HealthKit data is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent
- We do not store HealthKit data in iCloud or any external server beyond what Apple's HealthKit framework provides
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at support@tideyapp.com.
12. International Data Transfers
The App is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. We will post the updated Privacy Policy within the App and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
